Grad School

Turbofan Design for Small UAS: class project for Advanced Aerospace Propulsion and Power. Proposes 2 turbofan designs for a fan stage addition to a small turbojet to improve range and endurance. Intended to be submitted to AIAA SciTech 2021. PDF

Liquid Rocket Engine Acoustic Instabilities: class project for Engineering Acoustics. Provides a survey of high-frequency combustion instabilities in liquid rocket engines. PDF

Experimental Fluids Krill Project: bio-propulsion project to examine how krill swimming formations may reduce drag. PDF

UAS RATO Assessment: Unmanned Aerial Systems Rocket-Assisted Takeoff feasibility study for Group I-III UAS systems using COTS parts. PDF

CIE Business Plan: Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Program that takes OSU research and develops startup business plans for the developing technology. Our group proposed a modernized blood glucose monitor. PDF

Undergraduate

Senior Capstone: designed, built, and flew an autonomous quadcopter and rocket to launch to 8000ft then return a golf ball payload as close to the launch site as possible. Dedicated webpage here. PDF
